Rosemary Elliot and Emma Keppler

Emma and I did the 15th amendment for our 3rd quilt square. This was very controversial because even though the slaves were free, a lot of people still didn't like them and didn't want them to be able to vote.
 The man in the middle of our quilt square is happy because he can vote, and the woman is angry because she cant vote. The ballot and ballot box represent voting
