The reason we chose to make the quilt square theway we did was mostly simple. Sense during the civil war all photo graphs were in black and white we wanted to make it seem accurate to the time period. The reason we chose to make it a picture of Abraham Lincoln's inaugural speech was so that it would give a perspective of realness to the quilt square.The reason we wanted to make it have flashes of the civil war was so that it would give foresight into the future of the country.
