This quilt is relates to the fugitive slave act of 1850 because there is a slave running in to the woods and there he is again but some guy got him and now he is getting taken back to his owner but know days there is no slavery so this act does not apply to any one that shows how much better we are their predecessors we can think as every one as equal this piece tells what would happen if a slave ran away they would be hunted.
