In my second quilt square sarah rose and I created our picture based around gatling guns/ weapons of the war. Our quilt square has a picture of a union solder and a confederate solder. the union solder is colored in black to resemble the amount of power he holds. the confederate solder is colored in red as a bullet from the unions gun which is a AK-108 enters him. the bullet wound  is spilling out a puddle of blood that represents the amount of deaths caused in the war. right behind both of the solders there are flags i american flag behind the union solder, behind the confederate solder is a confederate flag. on the top of the square are three people with yellow and red dots all over there body the represent diseases of the war, there are three bodies because for every 1 person the died of a battle wound three died of disease. thats why there's a man being shot by the bullet of the confederate.
